It is all about volume/flow. The C line supply's a lot of cubic meters air, much more than what can escape thru a small hole (ie leaking valve). A leak will not seriously change pressures in the system. If i am wrong at this point (not), my boost will get higher than expected (no pressure in W results in max boost) so I do not see any problem I must agree on the looks, it looks crappy but it works.
