Arvid, did You check if this really works? Can You submit a picture how cables and plug need to be harmonized?

kind regards
Veith

Well, maybe I was to quick. I have no "check engine" light but have not checked with SD for fault codes. I thought I would get a warning light if they did not work ?? The car runs fine and all seems ok.

The wires are excactly the same,Red-White-Black. Just cut of the square connector and splice in the original round one.

I did a cross reference between the lambda sensors. Ghibli/Shamal has the same sensor as QP4 and www.lambdasensor.com  sell these as part TOS01. Using this number in cross reference shows this sensor fits multiple vehicles. Sensor is the same but connector different. Easy to fix :-)

They cost €10-€20 as Bosch 13021 and Eurospares.uk will sell You an original 473082340 for €1050....

thanks Arvid, so these are even a lot cheaper than the NTK OTD 3G 3A1 as replacment for original Maserati part. You can buy them at the same site mentioned or others for Landrover Defender vehicle with original 3-ply round connector but at 95 GBP (as mentioned in the other blog and checked by myself the other day).

I was just wondering if these work because I do not trust OEM sellers cross references (e.g. with Spark Plugs or Air Sensors they often fail to fit properly).

Good Luck!

It is a 3-wire Titania sensor with M12 thread and so are the originals. I can not imagine that there is that many different Titania sensors and they work the same way,via a resistance signal to the ECU. The Titania type is often used in high end cars since they give a better and more accurate signal for controlling the emission. The other Zirconia type lambda gives a voltage signal back to ECU and can not be used in our cars.

It looked just like the originals and where of same length and width, same colors on wires :-)

I installed them yesterday and the car feels absolutely normal.
