Bin mir nicht sicher, ob Ihr mit der privaten Hotelbuchung auf der richtigen Strategie seid. Zumindest bei der offiziellen 90-Jahr Feier 2004 war es so, dass die ganzen Veranstaltungspunkte (Werksbesichtigung, Corso durch Modena, Aufstellung der Fahrzeuge auf der Piazza Roma im Centro Storico, Roadbook fuer den Transfer nach Rom, Galadinner und Abschlussveranstaltung am Sonntag in Rom) nur fuer Teilnehmer zugaenglich waren, die den offiziellen Event direkt ueber Maserati gebucht hatten. Und das war eine Komplettbuchung mit den Hotels und allem Drum und Dran und es gabe keine Teilpakete oder Varianten, nur Alles oder Nichts. Wenn dIe dfas zum 100-er wiedert so handhaben, sind die prtivaten Hotelbuchungen sinnlos. Also vielleicht doch mal erst abwarten, was Maserati denn plant?

Hi integrale,

We had the same discussion in our forum and finally, we decide to reserve the hotel by ourself because of the last Maserati International Rally in Switzerland. The price of the Rally was not far from 3200 euro for the weekend. Not everybody is able to pay this amount.
It's true that we do not know what Maserati is going to prepare but I had emails with the project manager and suggest to think also to the enthousiats people who are limited in theyre budget.

In any case, from Maseratitude, we are already 33 cars registered for the trip. We booked 60 bedrooms in two differents hotels not far from Modena to make sure that we are going to have a place to sleep.
We had contact also with the Club Maserati France and we espect about 20 more cars from them.
We booked the bedrooms from the 18th to the 22nd of September.

When Maserati will publish the program, of course, we will know more and it will be easier to organize ourself. We are thinking to participate at some events with Maserati (Parade, maybe restaurant, etc...) and to organize also some events around. There is a lot to do and to visit around Modena.

As I said earlier, we spoke already with the English from http://www.SportsMaserati .co.uk  and they are also really enthousiast to come to Modena.

Hello Barth, Rene and Nerano,
I agree with you, that the costs for the official meeting might be very high and I for my part can say, that I'm absolutly sure not to spend about 3000.- for one weekend. The question is only, if it makes great sense to go there and not participate on the program. Because as I had seen 9 years ago, Maserati was very strictly or 'unfriendly, with the not official bookers, they hadn't them let participate at nothing. But when I see the figures from you Barth, next year it might be that the unofficial meeting (if all the international groups will put together) will be bigger than the official. So also in this way a lot of fun will be guaranteed.

Seitens Maserati gibt es noch keine offizielle Stellungnahme zu einem 100 jährigem Programm.
Ich werde das nochmals hinterfragen.
An sich finde ich die Idee super cool... und heim kommen wir auch wieder, egal auf welchem Weg

So, Hotel ist reserviert 18. - 21.9.14. Die Message lautet: es gibt noch Hotelzimmer *in* Modena!

@Bart: we should not care too much for prices of official Maserati events. With a bunch of more than hundred cars we can do our own event/s with ease if we like to. Maserati should accept that they benefit from the presence of the many passionates from all around Europe and open their event for everyone.

We would appreciate to join in the Belgian group coming down from Germany in Switzerland, pls. let us know times/dates as soon as they are fixed.

Hallo Maseratisti,

heute habe ich Kontakt zu drewf von sportsmaserati.com und barth von maseratitude.com aufgenommen, um herauszubekommen, ob Interesse an einer "Euro" Sternfahrt besteht. Die Engländer kommen über Troyes und Chamonix und wollen da erst noch ein paar Pässe abreiten. Einige fahren schon recht früh (Montag) los, aber was ich so lese, haben die meisten erst ab DO die Hotelreservierung gemacht, also wird die Anfahrt in Italien wohl am Donnerstag, 18.9. stattfinden.

Ich habe drei Treffpunkte für das Zusammentreffen der Gruppen vorgeschlagen: die Gegend von Vercelli, Mailänder Ring (tangenziale ovest) oder Piacenza.

Vermutlich klappt sowas nicht ohne jeweils einen Verantwortlichen und da mir was an einer Sternfahrt mit möglichst vielen Autos liegt, habe ich das einfach in die Hand genommen, da ich bisher nichts hier dazu gelesen hab.

Sobald ich Infos von drewf (UK) und/oder barth (FR) bekomme, werde ich Euch das posten.

Was meint ihr dazu? Ist das eine gute Idee, oder wollt ihr lieber individuell anreisen und haltet nichts von einer gemeinsamen Sternfahrt?
