Hi again,

I gave my gearbox to my mechanic friend who is going to do the work on this box and he had a question about replacing the paper seals on the gearbox. He said that usually they prefer to use silicon instead of paper seals, because it is longer lasting then paper seals. But because these seals are rather thick he thought that it might mess up the tolerances in the gearbox.
Maybe someone who has done some work on Maserati gearboxes what’s the best way to go.
